My name is Fawzi Abdel Ghany.

Translation has been my profession and passion for over 20 years. I started translating while still at university and subsequently worked part-time as a translator until I started my own business, Ghalingo Translations, in 1996.

At the University of Cairo I studied both medicine and business for two years before graduating as a translator at the Faculty for Foreign Languages and Translation there. I completed the state examination for translators at the Bavarian Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs, Science and Arts and have also been publicly appointed by the president of the Augsburg District Court. This means I am authorized to authenticate translations for official purposes.

I am regularly used as an expert adjudicator in cases where the translation of documents is controversial. Since 2016, I have also been working for the Bavarian Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs, Science and Arts as remote examiner.
